Wroclaw
We spent the majority of our time on the trip in Wroclaw, Poland. We visited a cemetary where my grandmother used to be buried — she was exhumed and reburied in Canada in 1993. The cemetary has been falling apart since WWII, but a rejuvenated Jewish community in Poland is putting great efforts toward rebuilding it and protecting it from desecration.
This is the door to the room that was used to prepare the body for burial.
